Outception: a calm news wall of headlines from over ten thousand sources

Outception is a free news reader for people who want the day at a glance without an algorithm deciding for them. It shows a wall of cards, one per publisher, with live headlines from over ten thousand outlets across news, sports, finance, tech, science and entertainment, plus live tables. You pick the publishers, swipe through the cards, tap any headline for a short summary, and reach the end. It is free on the web, on iPhone and on Android, with no ad network and no tracking profile; one products card a day, chosen by hand, is the only commercial surface. Outception is an alternative to Google News and Feedly: it replaces the ranked, personalized feed with a fixed wall of exactly the publishers you chose. Readers who want an algorithm to sort the day for them will be happier with those apps.
